Future Dorm Decoration

Share

Both an entry to Jazza's monthly contest and a new poster to decorate my college dorm with this semester.
Not very visibly "untraditional" but I mean you usually only see double exposure artwork in digital format.
Materials:
Basis- 28x22 in poster paper, craft foam
Color- $1 watercolors, watercolor pencils, Simply... brand cheap colored pencils, Art District gouache paint i got for a penny, Artist's Loft acrylics, Faber Castell sepia pens and pastel pens, purple Art spray (??), liquitex muted ink, metallic tempera paint I found in the garage, gold spray paint, Crayola crayons, gelly roll sakura pens, white ink pen, mica flakes I found outside and picked apart
Texture- crayon, Avery translucent sticker/label paper, an old toothbrush, salt, part of an old sea sponge
Utility- school glue, scissors, xacto knife, q-tips, cheap masking tape.

This is the biggest full color piece I have ever made and it honestly only took a couple days work. I didn't have glitter so I found mica in my yard and there is mica in my carpet now. The o g glitter. These are all things I happened to have lying around due to my art supply hoarding throughout my life haha. Hope you enjoy the work I made from all of it!

Hope that's enough to qualify as "untraditional <3
