My submission for the Paper Planet Art Contest. I found myself very taken with the game, it's got the perfect balance of old and new. There's lots of love for flash games I and many others grew up with in it, playing even a few games brought a warm nostalgia to me. You should go give the demo a try here on Newgrounds, if you can!

For my submission, I drew the boss character Zenith. His design reminded me of a mix between enemies from the Fancy Pants games and some Kirby enemies, especially the swordsman Dark Matter. What do you think?
