ShareI have a worldbuilding project centered around my demon OCs that you've likely seen before in my gallery, and there's a ton of lore for them! They're called Enoki (yea mushroom..but nah these are demons) and I love them.

So from a pure lore stand point, Enoki don't have sex for reproductive purposes? Since they are born from tree sap(?). So all those times they had sex it was purely for pleasure/entertainment?

They do have sex for those purposes, just not with eachother. They use mortal souls to sustain themselves and a portion of that gets put back into whats called the Mantle, which is a huge ball of writhing souls that is below the waking spring (the place in this comic). Its able to release souls that come through the cave walls and into the water of the waking spring. Everything is magic infused i guess.
If they have sex with eachother its either for pleasure or practice haha
