LORE RAHH: There'd been a corporation in centralized in LA that'd been founded directly after WW2. It was part of a secret project similar to Project Paperclip, but on the more... "Creative" aspects... It wasn't military oriented, though it did occasionally delve into weapon crafting... On Novermber 3rd, 2000, camera footage discovered strange people working in the Los Angeles water reservoir. At the time, no one was skilled enough to see through the 4 pixels that were cameras, so they couldn't make out what the large emblem on the back of the intruders coats were. It took a while to find a technology expert, and LA agreed to send the people that discovered the footages to meet up with the expert at the best place one would meet to do buisiness. The expert would've lived in NYC, and due to him not being the richest man in the world, couldn't afford to go to LA. So LA sent some representatives to meet with him at the world trade center- particularly the twin towers. It just so happened that when they met up, a terrorist attack was launched.

That is not the full lore, just the basic origins. I'm short, TauRn is doing crazy shit to the water, and might've completely orchestrated 9/11. These guys are called TauRn Mutants btw
