Backstory: Legend has it that Sidney Slashinbern sailed the oceans from parts unknown to the future site of what soon to be Slashinbern. Back then it was nothing but miles and miles of thick dangerous jungles just teeming with the most vicious and bloodthirsty assortment of flora and fauna imaginable. Sidney saw potential in the land, so he took it upon himself to cut down every single tree there with his sharp claws and torch away the remaining stumps using his flamethrower arm. Soon when all the trees were cleared and most of the vicious animals were slain, Sidney then started getting to work on building houses and living quarters for the other colonists and soon the colony of Slashinbern was alive and flourishing. The town was named Slashinbern after the method of cutting down trees that Sidney used to build the town.

Other Info: Sidney Slashinbern is the original founder of Slashinbern and deforestation personified. Stories about him have been told for generations about him and how he tamed the harsh unkempt wilderness and turned it into Slashinbern. There is also a statue of him in the center of Slashinbern where everyone gathers to celebrate the anniversary of when Sidney founded Slashinbern. While most consider him to be a hero, there are a small few who don't see him all that favorable due to his method of tearing down the forest. Despite that, they still celebrate him.
