I can't say I ever saw the show, but I can recognize the Tezuka touch because of Astro Boy. (one of his most famous stories/characters)

Something I drew real quick from a little show called "Wonder 3". I remember seeing this character all over the interwebz many years ago, but had no idea where she was from until recently. The show seems charming enough if not a little strange, but not bad.
