Thanks for the review. I agree with your assessment. I redrew the damn thumb and connecting lines a bunch of times but couldn't get it to look quite right in the end. I was having an off day for sure. I've been drawing my hand each day all week and have set a strict one hour time limit so I had to work with what I had unfortunately. The hand angle combined with back lighting made it a challenge to get the large flat area below the thumb to have much depth as it was so flat looking. Oh well, practice practice practice!
