Two pairs of goofy animals that are so close that they're very clearly more than just friends, who go on wacky adventures and even adopted kids (Such as Simba or the Geek for example), and had their own spin-off cartoons full of slapstick. But who would win between these two duos when they clash in a Death Battle?

After remembering Timon and Pumbaa had their own Looney Tunes-esque show, I wondered if they'd actually be a challenge for the Freelance Police. That and I really wanted to draw Sam as Pride Rock and Max as the sunrise. Not sure what the setup would be, there are two options and either fit...

1. Sam and Max somehow wound up in the Pridelands while trying to drive to Tahiti because Max was holding the map sideways. They see Timon and Pumbaa chasing a grub and Max smashes it with a hammer because he felt like it, starting the fight.

2. The four are playing Poker in an amalgamation of the Inventory and the House of Mouse, and the game turns sour between Timon and Max, leading to a full-on fight.

I've already made a thumbnail of this, though it looks a bit sloppy, plus I added them to my "The Fallen" pic.
