I've been trying to dabble in neurodivergence headcanons because...well, I wanted to try my own intepretations, and I realized just how many characters can qualify just by how they're written. 9-Volt is one of them. He loves video games, something he picked up from his mother, and often wears an AR helmet with headphones. A prime example, though, is WarioWare Gold, where 9-Volt has trouble with math in school, and does better when he imagines it as a video game (something he likes), which reminds me of how I would sometimes imagine characters I like reading a book in science class to actually help me focus on what I was reading. 9-Volt also has a questionable sleep schedule. I don't know if that's really an autism thing, I have a bad sleep schedule at least.
