To be fair, SM64 is still alive and well in the N64 Switch Online app. As for Sunshine and Galaxy?… Let’s just say those caskets are empty and they are currently hiding “underground”, so to speak.

Technically a continuation from this. www.deviantart.com/icam2k/art/…
As much as stupid big N's decisions can be and we may be sad now, I can always have the pleasure to occasionaly throw in some jokes every now and then.
Mario (yes, he is alive here, just putting some spin here) crying for his lost “peers“ while his brother comforts him. Feat. the legendary smoking toad stepping in.
Now I know for the fact the text written on the tombstones are written rather poorly, obviously because they're rather small and there's one that is completely obscured. So in hopes of not leaving the reader confused, here:
“Galaxy Mario: Has flew higher than the galaxy itself.“
“64 Mario: Flattened to bits.“
“Sunshine Mario: Got flushed along with his F.L.U.D.D.“
Alright, that's it, that's enough now. Just simply enjoy the drawing and the fun dialogue.
(...also April Fools? Even though that's not the intended drawing... ah screw it, I'll just post it anyways)
Give out some comments here if you want to talk about it or even fave it.
Super Mario belongs to Nintendo. (that's big N)

So, any of you still lucky to actually own these games or something? Just asking.
(also I forgot that I made another artwork before this one, my bad, guess I'll post that later)

Had me going for a sec, I thought the game stopped working or something
Took me a while to remember the joke/meme from that time. Not a unique way to showcase it here (Mario is dead now, so graveyard... yuk yuk yuk), but the art doing so is excellent and Luigi is surprisingly dignified in his appearance.
As to your question, I do own the Switch collection. Only played SM64 on it, which felt a little off. Maybe it's because I prefer using the N64 controller. Not sure. I do own an original copy of the N64 game along with Sunshine, my favorite Mario game, but it's a Player's Choice version with that ugly yellow stripe at the top because someone stole the first copy that came with my Gamecube and, yes, that still makes me bitter to think about. I don't own a Wii nor do I own Galaxy. Fortunately, a friend let me borrow his to play both of them so I got my fill of planetary travel.
I know for a fact that 64 Mario's soul lives on 4 parallel universes ahead of us.
I see what you did here. heh
