Initial description:
"Just needed to put a bit of variety in here, if you couldn't tell. Also because I've been in mood for the 2000s anime, starting with Fullmetal Alchemist as warmup. Gotta love the fact that I stumbled upon it as kid and getting enamored by the action... and creeped out by the grisly scenes (I was searching channels like a madman really). Granted I do feel like I need to rewatch it proper as an adult, since I actually started to appreciate it even more, especially the characters. Granted should I also watch Brotherhood?
Also maaan, it's been a long while since I last tried out a lightning (like?) effect, GIMP gave out that option pretty easily, but I barely use that anymore since I switched programs. I could've used some guides, but I really wanted to try that on my own, from scratch. Doesn't look all that bad at least.
Edit: GOD, I CAN T BELIEVE I MISSPELLED THE TITLE ALREADY. I ALWAYS CHECK EVERYTHING FOR GRAMMAR MISTAKES AND I STILL MESS UP, DANGIT!
Enjoy.
Give out some comments here if you want to talk about it or even fave it.
Fullmetal Alchemist belongs to Hiromu Arakawa.

EPIC!
FMA MENTIONED RAAAAAAH
"Granted should I also watch Brotherhood?" Oh, definitely. It rushes through a lot of the beginning since the original anime had already done a great job adapting that and covers the manga properly afterwards. There's other differences, as well, and since both are enjoyable, it's basically the "two cakes" meme.
It is rather interesting to see you drawing something like this. All your other uploads have had that goofy, cartoony, kid-friendly aspect and FMA is a little darker at times which I wasn't sure if you could properly convey. I like Al more than Ed here. He understands that this is art and should pose properly for it. Ed, meanwhile, is trying too hard to look cool (probably to distract viewers from noticing how... *mumble mumble* he is).
nice art, melissa is a good song for this anime (despite me not watching it since i don't believe the og fullmetal alchemist is available on some platforms)
