"Desperately Clinging on the Memory of You"

Xantheos used to pay to pass the time. However, as she grew older, she never had any opportunity to pick up painting again. That was until several years in the future. Many things have happened good and bad, all leading up to this moment.She had been dealing with some harsh stuff, recovering from abuse that she went through. She coped by running away somewhere far, and settling into what is now the ruins of the place that gave her great memories

Sorry for being too vague, haha... I want to reserve the heavier details for the future. Maybe in a comic series, maybe a novel. We'll see. I do hope that this piece tells enough. I tried to put a few bits of symbolism. : )
