This is an illustration for my artist study on Gigi D.G., as part of the Palate Palette project. Gigi D.G. is the author of the webcomic Cucumber Quest.

Gigi D.G. is the artist that I’m most influenced by, especially in my coloring style, so I thought it was ideal for me to start with them. The thing that stuck out to me the most was their use of textured brushes. I’ve been primarily using smooth brushes in my illustrations, so I had to try out some brushes in Clip Studio Paint that I haven’t used much to adapt to their style.
