Decided to FINALLY give Calliope her long awaited NG debut, I Initially thought of the concept back in 2017. I wanted to create a clown OC that was reminiscent of those really out there 90s comedies with dutch angles and bright colors. Design wise I took heavy inspiration from Carrot Top as well as the Joker, Pinkie Pie and Weird Al.
As for her backstory,
Calliope May Edison was the first clown in her family to go to an actual college. Her family runs a massive carnival that tours the south mostly, Her mother was a Carnie and her Father was a pure blood clown. Tragedy has struck her when she was killed by two extremely active hand buzzers that are the equivalent of 4 cattle prods each.
She was granted immortality by annoying everybody in the afterlife so badly that they kicked her back into the living world, she's mankind's problem now, so she travels the land doing god knows what and reveling in the mayhem she causes.
The world needs more unhinged girl clowns imo. She looks awesome!
