This illustration is a tribute to Edd's artstyle and clever sense of humor, which has inspired me and countless others these past 20 years. Though I could have picked a more polished style to render this in--with fancy lighting and layer effects, etc--instead I decided to mirror Edd's style from the time when I was first introduced to him back in 2009-2010, and create something that would feel at home as a frame from one of his animations. While it may not be the most skillfully rendered drawing you'll see in this charity drive, it's Eddsworld's imperfections that inspired me most, and that's what I wanted to celebrate today!
