De-Facto Sheriff Tex Wherner - name so chosen because I couldn't figure out a more fitting name for a pulpy sheriff character even if I tried for a long time.
So I imagined him as becoming the de-facto sheriff of an area that's mostly populated by people who's forefathers and them drew the short straw when deciding who got genetic mutations and disabilities from the aftermath. The idea was that his stories would be kind of pulpy and fun, and not as high on the serious scale.
