Happy Pride Month 2024! Gonna try to do an art challenge for June and create a doodle/art piece everyday.

For day 4, it's Nature. And this requires a bit of explanation for this to make sense.

Last year I decided to celebrate Pride Month with a little doodle and text on a little whiteboard in the kitchen saying "Happy Pride Month! Don't be afraid to be yourself!". The next day though, I saw that my doodle was hastily erased and replaced with a sloppily written, "FUCK YOU it's Jurassic June".

If you didn't know, Jurassic June was/is an attempt to "reclaim" June from LGBTQIA+ people and have it celebrate the Jurassic Park series. 99% of the people chanting Jurassic June are queerphobbic, TERFs, and people like that. That info, plus accounting for my brother's ambivalence to the series (I knew it was him because his handwriting is awful) it was clear that he did it.

So I decided to retaliate with a drawing of a rainbow T-Rex with a "FUCK YOU" back and a bit about not tolerating hate.

So I wanted to recreate my funny pride icon for this year. Hope you like this!
