Captain Conesnail!

This magnificent mollusk heroically hurls his venomous harpoons into evildoers that kill them in about 5 to 8 hours! Slippery siphons hold his abominable ammunition as well as partake in puffing on his sea-side cigarettes! What a nasty habit!

His favorite brand has got to be Lucky Strike. Cool work!

A sea-faring, squamous and seedy scullion!

I love the concept!

When it comes to anthropomorphic artwork, the thing that I always wonder is:
"How can someone best utilize the features of this animal/'s?"
In many cases, mollusks and many acquatic creatures are- unfortunately, rather missused.

So it's always my absolute joy whenever I see something like this and with such an intrepid concept too!

From how the character sheet can also count as partially a 'skill' showcase, with all the items arranged on the far right, oozing this gritty & cartoony aesthethic, with such eye-catching poisonous green that brings me memory of The Nuclear Throne.

To the shell, almost undergrowing against his crooked figure. Both to express a seemingly old tradition to 'sticking with what works best' but also showing his and the shells age, as its colours are dry and washing away.
All to conclude in the description, being diagateically told as part of the world these characters live in.

Can't forget a nice mermaid tattoo on a rough but still kicking folk! Which does look like a true fish-lady. Just with a human head with a whole scaled body. Really matching and fitting for this setting!

Thanks for this expressively creative design! Wonder what more adventures him and others will face in the future..
