Finally, some good f*cking fantasy character who can properly use a longsword!
I hope he has a squire called Halfsword.

How stupid can this sword be to see a guy with this much drive and creativity and not let him wield it? Is he just really morally bankrupt? I hope not, I want to like him.

Maybe the sword looked at him and misjudged him as indolent and lazy because he skips leg day, but now it likes him better from this stunt. It'd be hilarious if he actually can wield the sword now but he just never tried it. Hey, it explains how come he doesn't get pulverized holding the edge of the blade- unless those are some REALLY tough gloves.

haha everyone calls my characters on skipping leg day. thanks for the great comment! And I think I've seen people use tough leather gloves to wield a sword like that before online.
