Old Man Jebbersnaps Speed Sculpt

Share

I've made it my new goal to master the software most widely used in the animation industry, starting with ZBrush (well, ZBrushCoreMini if we're being technical--I'm not made of money). This is the first of many sculpts to come. For the sake of simplicity and not overwhelming myself, all my future ZBrushCoreMini sculpts will only be uploaded on ZBrushCentral--find me there by searching @JThrash24! Of course, I will continue my plan to upload other art on here every weekend for the rest of 2021, since they were finished way back in September, and this does not count as one of those artworks, so you can still expect something tomorrow!

Awesome! I wonder if Python Scripting could be used to Link a ZBrush Model Face to Facial Tracking from a Webcam so that 3D Character's face reacts to the emotions of the Player? I know Blender has Python Scripting.

jthrash responds:

I’m not even using the full version of ZBrush, this was made in ZBrushCoreMini, which is a simplistic version of ZBrushCore which in turn is a simplified version of regular ZBrush. I’m sure the most expensive version of ZBrush would support advanced stuff like this, but definitely not the extremely-limited “non-commercial” version I’m using for practice.

Also, while I have studied basic Python on and off in the past I am definitely more comfortable spending most of my time with non-technical art as opposed to coding, so I couldn’t begin to answer your question in an intelligent way. I know this is a big thing that Big Tech is working on to make the “metaverse” concept feasible, at least.

When a wizard casts a spell that transforms your eyeballs into titties.

Looks good!

jthrash responds:

I only spent an hour on it, and even then most of it was just re-learning the interface for the first time since I graduated college (where my tuition paid for Zbrush and other programs). But thanks! Imagine if this guy said “Eyes up here, jerk” and you were still looking at nipples either way…
