Day 3: Um, OK, I realize I forgot to title yesterday's, OOPS! It would've been, "MY NEW OC???". So I spent a crap ton of hours on this one and it's the best thing I've ever drawn, period. I had YouTube as my guide to learning to draw with digital software and I watched a video on the "proper" process, starting with sketching, line art, coloring, shading, then highlights, and WOW does the picture become so much more alive when shading. I realized I made the eyes way too thick and I was going off like 5 tabs of Pintrist pages for references for everything from the hairstyle to the outfit and pose, but when I got near the end of my drawing, I realized the girl I drew looks kind of like the raccoon girl from that one comic. (I FOUND THE COMIC, IT'S "THE TRASH CAN." BY TONYBTS2/TTONYESP). This was my first time ever trying to draw shoes and y'know what, they look cute, I like the color. Speaking of cute, the reason I don't draw men is because girls are nicer to look at. I'm not weird, I just want to look at something pleasant during the hours I spend drawing and men's clothing kinda sucks too, I think we can all agree on that. Honestly sucks being a guy in terms of fashion. I'm going to dress my girlfriend when I get one and I'll draw her too so you guys can see her epic outfits.
