Old Timey

A piece I did while working on character design. When building these characters, I just liked them so much that I outlined them and imported them into photoshop. Then I decided to have some fun with it and color it all sepia toned and try to add some noise to make it look like old film.

I think it came out rather nicely

I Agree With You

You did a great job on this. The only problem to me is that there doesn't really seem to be a real setting. There's a kinda hillbilly-looking guy, a city guy, and house with a mountain. Also, why is he yelling at the hillbilly? Did he break a window or something?

Ninjkabat responds:

I dunno. I just did it as a character design exercise. For the background, I tried to make a generic looking retro depression era background. With regards to the characters, I just did them in tandem to create a cliche George/Lenny combo, or an Abbot/Castello combo. Anyway, it wasn't meant to have a setting, and the background was definitely a slapped-in afterthought.
