Actually it ended up being mixed media because I was unhappy with the traditional version.
I started with a rough sketch and a canvas panel that I airbrushed black. I blocked in rough shapes first to define the ship. But the hull black mingled with the warp's white, forcing me to add three layers of black over days. Adding windows with mixed green-blue white. Also I added the gellar field effect with a bit of white and a rather dry brush, it ended up being my favourite element about this. And the crew's probably.

So here is a great action scene you have, love the lightning and thunder too as an opinion if the lightning would be more glowy effect might accent the whole piece more anyways nice intense art piece here

That is a pretty bad-ass looking battleship! Gritty, grimy, surging through the cosmos in a wave of energy... looks awesome. Texture just really builds the atmosphere too.
