bro, what happened to Sketch? You were like my favourite artist back there. A year later and sketch is gone. Damn, its refreshing to see your art again. Keep up the good work ^^

An amazing, dark and beautiful portrait

The art portal is surely a blessing; thanks to it, we can discover several new talented artists and content creators, whose entries deserve to be admired and enjoyed. An example of that is this marvelous illustration: an exquisite portrait that features marvelous color techniques, wonderful rendering and a lovely drawing style.

My favorite aspect of this entry is the coloring: in one word, is beautiful. The palette is dark and gloomy, but that's where the beauty of this piece of art resides; I love the use of black, red and dark brown. I think that the different shades of brown that the hair has are delightful; while the red eyes are mesmerizing, amazingly detailed (I love the tiny sparks around them), and highly expressive. The skin textures are also worthy of praise: I like how it slick it looks, while the play of lights and shadows on it is engrossing. The picture sends out a feel of mystery, something that only makes this entry more special and wholesome. The pitch black background also enhances the illustration: is makes the girl stand-out more and ultimately, makes this entry perplexing and unique.

Your character style is very eye-popping. I particularly love how well-detailed the arms, fingers, shoulders, lips, eyes and hair are. You have a fine touch for anatomy and facial expression; the dame look stylized, but also beautifully hypnotic.

Last but not least, I also like the clothes and accesories that the girl is wearing: the rings stand out; I like how shiny they look, and also how you can distinguish them from the girl's fingers; while the black bracelet and tank-top give off a classy vibe to it. Wonderful.

All in all, this is one amazing and passionate piece of art. I think that you really managed to deliver an exhilarating illustration; definetly eye-catching and unexpectedly emotive. Congratulations KaoriYuki!
