A design I worked on for @Cubesona and @Oolongearlgrey character design challenge at their panel!

Some of my character design process as detailed below:

Since #TeamSeaQueen had a Hindu theme, with what I already knew of Buddhism from my faith I based it on the Earth Goddess from Buddhist mythology, who wrung water from her hair to wash away the influence of Mara's army, as well as Bodhisattvas as indicated by her lotus(or sea anemone) seat. I gave her six arms to make her similar to a deva as well since it felt in line with jellyfish having multiple tentacles. The gold accessories are seashells and while she's based largely on just the generic jellyfish with long tentacles, I gave her a moon jelly pattern since it follows in line with the secondary floral theme.

I loved all the designs for this challenge from both teams! I was a bit short on time and would have loved to color and things more carefully, but so far I love it! I think i might refine this design more : )
