In the mid-1960s, Dell Comics made an adaptation of the 1931 film, then decided to continue the title by turning it into a superhero title. Yes, Frankenstein as a superhero. This green-faced guy wore a tan-coloured mask to match the rest of his skin tones and used the name Frank Stone when not fighting evil. The crimefighting monster battles mad scientist Dr Freek and his pet gorilla Bruto. the whole thing last four issues.
I went with a heavy ink style with this one to match the comic book look.
