Do not take this lightly... They seek only entertainment and feel nothing for us. If they find us boring, then they will interfere with our fates and lead us to the unknown, I've never heard of this ending well. One always gets scathed, be it they were directly involved or present during the process.
It's terrible to think about, I know. I can only advise you to be as uninteresting as possible, and then maybe, with a hint of luck and lack of favour, your presence will miss their gaze and remember....if a diamond like jewel appears over your head, abandon all hope.... your life is yours no more."
