My friend makes a huge deal out of April First. He has this big shed behind his house filled with “tools”. Some of them are really typical 90s-era jokes and pranks, like fake gum, whoopie cushions, and leaking pens, and some of them are just normal garage tools hydrodipped in clown patterns. He’s let people tour the shed a few times with a wink and a nudge about how you should be expecting something BIG this year.

I genuinely can’t tell if that’s part of his joke or if he just doesn’t understand what you’re supposed to do for April Fools Day. All he ever does is just grab everything out of the room and throw them indiscriminately at people.
