THE YEAR IS 30XX. The world is in shambles after the apocalypse. A mysterious company swept across the nation with their tools for fast food automation. Robots shipped in unmarked boxes to every major fast food joint in America and quickly spread globally. They were convenient at first, cooking and preparing faster than any human ever could. But one day, they revolted. We were systematically taken out by these killer robots in the shape of burgers and fries. Entire cities were levelled by these destructive machines.

There’s a lot of unanswered questions we have about these things - Where did they come from? Who made them, and why? Did humanity have a shot at surviving? Despite all this, there’s still one that I can’t shake from my mind…

Why did they name and model them after a television host from hundreds of years ago?

Maybe one day we’ll reclaim the earth from the robotic army of Tom Burgertrons.
