Maravilla chased adventure, in her space ship. She saw many new worlds that probably didn't exist. She saw the lava plumes being tossed into the atmosphere by the planet PSR B1620-26 b and she swam in the infinite seas of Gliese 581 d where she saw the dim crystal structes that displayed the sweetest dreams of the purest children.
Her sense of adventure wasn't satisfied. But, each new planet expanded her sights, each astonishing new development piqued her curiosity. So, she drew further from Earth, the sweet smell of her mother's hair becoming a memory far-flung and the brothers and sisters she chased around her colorful yard only a week ago were so distant she couldn't even recall their names.
She was only 6, almost 7, and she was already married to discovery and her vows were made of each new step she took and each new sight she held in her glossy, wide eyes.
