Earlier this year when I was making plans on which artwork pieces I was going to get to this year, I had planned a creative spin on Samus Aran - inspired by earlier iterations before the Zero Suit - on the presumption that we would at least hear news of Metroid Prime 4 and I could time finishing it accordingly. Of course with COVID, anything we might’ve heard or would’ve progressed got delayed into the future but I went ahead and drew Samus anyway.
It’s too late in the year to also paint up a purple suit variant, otherwise I would’ve very much done that too.
