Hey guys, its me Kobe, Sorry I havent been kinda playing dead since July 2019. Life work and other issues like my mental problems and anxiety have been the causes. The reason why is that I am announcing a collection of fan art of animated or live media characters dressing up as the fighters of the Smash Bros. series.

I started this around I believe... November 2018, one month before Smash Ultimate came out, then I began making the rest when Banjo Kazooie, Min Min, Joker, Terry, Steve, Sephiroth, Pyra and Mythra were introduced. I began finishing the rest from December 2021 to April and July 2022 after Sora was released and I did additional planning for that.

But, should I let you know that I never, ever played a single Smash Bros. game at all, especially Ultimate or Brawl, so I went on various places online for information and so I did.

I was hoping I'd be the first to do a Smash Bros. related art jam thingy first, but I found out someone else did something like this before I would start to upload them publicity, which was xeternalflamebryx's Super Smash Styles (Shoutout to him!).

Keep in mind that this will take a few weeks, perhaps months, and a few more years if so because of personal life issues I have so wish me luck!

Notes:

-When I get scouted and when comments are enabled, you may do any request on what character you want me to do as a fighter, but don't suggest too much. I recommend two or three characters each in one comment on each drawing and I propose mostly Western characters, less manga/anime or Japanese characters but Western anime/manga characters are mostly welcome, as I said earlier.

-Only very known OCs on Newgrounds and YouTube (like the FNF cast) will be the only OCs allowed.

-Playable roster characters ONLY. No characters, even those that already appear as either Background NPCs, Mii Costumes or Spirits in Smash will be cosplaying as playable rosters. It means I will only do the Background NPCs, Pokeball Pokemon, Mii Costumes, Spirits, and Brawl/Smash 4's Enemies, Stickers and Trophies as any Smash fighter, BUT I will not do the Assist Trophy characters, since it's too impulsive (no Futurama reference intended) to do so, especially after October 2021.

June 2023 update: However, since I did Toriel as Princess Peach, I will let you know I will do the Spirit, Mii Costume, Pokeball Pokemon and Background NPCs as fighters, but no Assist Trophies (Sorry, Waluigi. That includes you too!)

-I will mostly do Western characters more often at my best since there's waaaaaaaaaaay too much Japanese anime-ish game characters (despite it's name as "The biggest crossover in gaming, although there's not that many characters what we expected back then but Banjo-Kazooie and Steve being the only two Western game characters in there, besides the Assist Trophies Shovel Knight, Mii Costumes Cuphead, Doom Slayer, Shantae and Vault Boy from Fallout."). On par, I will often have Western anime/manga-like characters more often, so don't expect that much.

-Please don't spoil or think of any character I might do as a Smash fighter.

-In my opinion, I should prefer that... only non-Disney characters (i.e. from Paramount (Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, MTV), Warner (Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, HBO Max), Netflix, PBS, other shows)) will be cosplaying as Sora. So what? I thought non-Disney characters would be cool as Sora, but I won't spoil who will be cosplaying as him.

-Due to an E10+ rating but although having M/T-rated game characters in both the game and who will Kobe draw as a cosplaying fighter, no extremely graphic and violent horror movie characters (like Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13, Hellraiser, Saw, Texas Chainsaw, Halloween, etc.) will be allowed.

-Some will also feature a bit of live show and movie characters, so I will sometimes do 'em for a bonus.

-Some will have obscure characters that weren't known too much or had no international releases.

-Some will have that are from critically panned shows that people hate soooooo MUCH!!! Yeah, there will be!

-Most of the kid characters will might have weapons that are too dangerous for them. (But, aaaaah... Where's Ness, the Inklings and the Villagers when you need 'em?)
