Bailey Briggs a.k.a. "Spider-Boy" is the newest addition to the Spider-Verse. . There was originally a different "Spider-Boy" (a fusion of Superboy from DC who has Spidey powers) but I think he's dead?

Bailey is apparently hated by the majority of the spider-fandom because he literally came out of nowhere from the last chapter of "End of Spiderverse" & basically stole the spotlight from the many already thousands of other spider-verse peeps that should have their own comic book series, but don't even after all these years...

His creator is apparently also hated for shoehorning some random self-insert looking, Generic faced OC, with an equally generic name who cucked Peter Parker to be Mary Jane's husband that also had 2 kids with her in that 1 series. So that just guaranteed Spider-Boy (Bailey) being hated before anyone even got to know him.

Anyway, long explanation aside, I actually like Bailey. He's actually an interesting concept because unlike the other hundreds of Spider-verse Spiderpeople, I think(?) he's the only one who doesn't shoot webs and is based on those cute, tiny jumping spiders (basically he jumps fast alot and focuses on fast acrobatics and movement). Plus his suit design's pretty neat too.

Really wish more people would give Bailey's story a chance. But I understand where the disdain from him is coming from though.
