A cover book/fanart of the first film short ever about the trip to the moon!
I recently discovered that this french film didnt have a single cartoon/poster fanart redesign after like 121 YEARS! The majority was about the moon itself but never the wacky cast of characters from the movie, so i tried to make a tribute to this historic piece of media.

Ngl A Trip to the Moon had the feel of a live action Adventure Time episode, wouldn't be surprised if Pendelton Ward took some inspiration from it lmao
Also the star girl and the green reptile dinosaur thing are my spirit animals
