Here is a design for an escort shuttle I have been working on recently. It is designed for use by private contractors and to also serve as the home of the ship's crew. The ship features 4x 80mm cannon turrets. There are 3 crew positions in the front cockpit area with a residential compartment in the back. When landed, the ship features a 30cm ground clearance. I wanted to place it close to the ground and setup the entrance to be as close to the ground as reasonable possible. Entering the ship, there is a short set of steps to the forward deck which leads forward into the cockpit. Another short set of steps leads up into the cabin section. I wanted to place most of the ship critical systems and equipment as close to the ground as possible for maintenance purposes.
