the blending is so damn good
Expect my miserable traditional artstyle until I get a working tablet again. I do a lot to my drawings like blending pencils and using small knives to color correct in shading but it's just not the same, if I had some good markers I might be able to get away with some advanced bullshit but I kinda just have a knife, a tin full of random colored pencils, a couple graphite pencils, and a fine ballpoint pen; which is good in the right hands but I've gone about a year without touching traditional.
the blending is so damn good
I had some tricks with coloring and blending before I jumped to digital, so when I did this I used some old tricks and some concepts adapted over from digital art.
Fun fact: A lot of convoluted stuff goes into getting the exact shade I want, Serivas's underbelly for example was the result of six different colored pencils and I just tweaked the pressure and angle depending on where I was coloring in order to change how the colors mixed and their concentrations. There's actually a small difference between how two colors can mix depending on which one was used first and what kind of pressure you use.
Essentially, my over-technical artstyle becomes even more cancer on paper where there's finer control and nuance to it.
