This one took me 7:14.

I threw a few new concepts into this because I thought of all of them around the same time and I'm lazy.

The tadpole lookin thing is a Kurutiel and it's another Relke form, these guys in specific are adapted to scout things out rather than really fight things, so this little guy needs to hope they're faster than the extremely upset Ryllst they just woke up. This specific Kurutiel's name is Wilquenst, and if that name sounds dumb, it's because I came up with it in three nanoseconds in the middle of writing down dumb ideas.

The Ryllst character here is Meridaunt, I drew them a while back but thought the sketch looked too bad to burden this place with, they're just a normal ol' Ryllst but they don't polish their plates or teeth so they have a bit of corrosion on the edges of all their bare metal parts. I know their color scheme isn't the greatest thing ever, I got random colors for their palette because I wanted to branch out with the kinds of colors I used and challenge myself a little. Lorewise, I think they're just a random hobo that hangs out in this cave, maybe there's some story to weave of a fallen social elite or an escape from a life of crime, but for the time being they're just occupied with existing and this cave was a safe spot to sleep.

Lastly, you might notice that there's these random speckles of yellow on the cave walls, I'm not sure how well I really executed it but this is the first nonmetal species I've come up with. See, life in Ferrinsyl is almost entirely sourced from pure elements being animated by movie science style particles similar to electrons, so the more complex life comes from the more conductive elements like the metals. With how ubiquitous microbial life is on earth, I figure that just about any scenario where it's possible probably has some amount of microscopic life, so the less conductive materials in Ferrinsyl animate as smaller, simpler life. My idea for this is for most of them to be pathogenic to the metal monsters since a lot of metals can readily form ionic salts with metals, it just seems like the living cloud of oxygen would probably make it rough on the living chunk of metal. Regardless, the yellow here is a passive sulfur species that emits light to encourage sapient creatures to come close or congregate in their environments so that spores released by the sulfur can stick to them and be spread to other sheltered areas with stone surfaces it can eat. This probably won't be the only living form of sulfur though and I might make a pathogenic one later since sulfur is still fairly reactive, that and it's colors are cool: it's a light yellow solid that melts into a blood red liquid which burns a soft blue; and that's not even mentioning the colors of compounds it can make.
