So I'd like to ramble about bad Mario games for a bit

A few years ago I played through Mario Party Advance aka the one everyone hates, and there were a handful of sidequests revolving around some in-universe series called "Toad Force V", which based on all the characters' descriptions seems to be some kind of mecha-action show or whatever people refer to the genre as, and some time after beating the game I remembered some promotional shorts for Paper Mario: Color Splash revolving around those Rescue Squad Toads under the name "Rescue V" and that was enough for me to headcanon those as some sort of less-well-received spinoff of Toad Force V

Anyway, recently I thought about both of those things which is probably why I felt like drawing this all of a sudden

And to think on the release date of the new Mario & Luigi game at that
