DING DING DING DING
you guessed it! it's another monster from that one story I've been writting!
this one is named Twisted Glare (I know, its name isn't Vore, shocking)
I think it's ability is pretty self-explanatory but still, I'll elaborate
Twisted Glare is an hourglass-shaped mirror made out of purple wood (I know it doesn't look like wood dw if I ever get to do more ilustrations of this guy I'll add that detail) which looks relatively normal, until somebody stands in front of it, once that happens, the person is immediatly transported to a black void outside of the timeline (meaning that no time pases in real world for each second you spend there) where the mirror's eyes activate and it stares into your soul, once it has done that, it will proceed to show you a nearly identical copy of yourself with a few differences, such as polar opposite personality to yours or a cartoonishly exaggerated version of your existing personality and an extreme or small difference in the color palette of their clothing. After a few seconds of awkward eye contact with your other self, you will feel like you're being pushed back away from the mirror before being rapidly pulled back into it, being blinded by bright red light as you go in. When you come out the other side, the mirror will still be there, but the place in which you are will be in an opposite state of how it used to be, if it used to be let's say... a relatively calm little town thriving off of tourism and urban myths... it will now be one of the worst shitholes to live in of the country filled with rampant crime, drugs and stuff like that, and there are still monsters around, though their mirror counterparts may be look or/and act completely different depending on how history has played out on this dimension, additionally the entire universe is flipped so you can't really find your way around anywhere because now suddenly Minnesota is on the lower left of the U.S instead of the top right and also you have 24 hours to find the key that will trigger the mirror to return you home or you will become that other version of yourself you saw in the mirror. The key will be in the place where the mirror should be in your original dimension so to use Minnesota as an example again, since Minnesota is now on the lower left of the U.S, you'd have to go to California at the top right and go to the general area where you were when you activated the mirror, to find the key, then; go back to the mirror and activate it to return home (or take it with you along the ride so that you don't have to backtrack at the end if you wanna be smart). The mirror can only be triggered by a specific individual(s) once per day, so you can't jump right back in once you're out, you'd have to wait until tomorrow
what do you guys think? I think he's pretty cool, lately my rewrittes of this story become longer and incorporate more things into the story to really get the maximum exploration of each creature the protagonists encounter, so who knows maybe when I get to rewritting this guy's part I'll incorporate a roadtrip across the Democratic Republic of America
