honestly I've been thinking of doing a book about this where basically the character thinks they are the main character(they are) and use the plot armor and jump off cliffs and stuff to earn money before the actual conflict emerges idk sounds fun

also I don't care if anyone takes this idea just thought it might be fun to see where it leads

Great piece. The blur on all the other characters moving through life in a hurry is a great use of symbolism, and having the main character standing in the middle and outside all the crosswalks is a great idea.
