Custom Guitar Monsters

Share

I made a forum post way back while I was working on this and then proceeded to fall off the face of the earth for like, 2 years. I used acrylic paint on a wood body. Coated in several coats of polycrylic finish for protection.

The body itself came from a Saga guitar kit. All the internals, as well as the transparent pickguard and pick-up covers were purchased from other suppliers and assembled by American Music in Seattle. I'll try and get the specs from the guy who owns it. Thing plays like a gold knife spreading nutella on french toast.

Awsome if that was a real guitar iwold buy it :D

Awesome job! As a guitar modder/builder myself I really appreciate the amount of time that goes into these kinda things :D Personally, I suck at finishing so all my guitars are very plain colours (ronseal on wood XD) (I'm much more into the woodwork and electronics/playabillity side) but that is a SCHWEET paintjob! I love all the little monsters :D Congrats man! Shred her until your fingers bleed (in the best possible way XD)

I really need to see if I can get the guy who owns it now to post a video. It sounds incredible.
