It was such a delightful, whimsical picture, then you ruined it by basically saying everyone plunges to an icy grave. Oh well, not everything has a happy ending, nice job.
I made this poster for a competition entitled "London Stories"! I chose to illustrate the story of the last Frost Fair on river Thames, where everyone got taken by surprise by a sudden elephant appearing from under the Blackfriars Bridge in London, 1814♡ in the poster you can see the elephant, along with his rider (who's totally wearing that outfit during winter just to win a few pounds). The mischievous elephant stole an orange from Old Sailor George's stand and his wife stares in horror at all the oranges falling in the snow. A pair of twins appear to the right and left of the animal, one fearing it while the other tries to befriend it. A poor man walks away from the scene, happily glancing back at the joyful creature. The thing no one noticed is the small crack in the ice below... Leading to this being the last ever Frost Fair on river Thames.

No one said they did that 😂 I only said the ice cracked, not that it actually broke. But thank you!
