I don't know exactly why, but I love this type a art. So many little unique details, it's a smorgasbord for the eyes, and very well presented I might add.
The color choices compliment the high traffic of detail so they make them pop out more, while being muted enough to provide a very comfortable experience for your eyes as they explore the piece. I hope you can continue to incorporate and build off of these principles in the future in order to produce ever increasingly stylish and optically feastful pieces of art, like Buchhalter.
