Painted this cover art for my track “Si se acaba el mundo” just dropped on Spotify

It’s a song about unreciprocrated love and how sad it can be. Sometimes we love someone so much and they simply don’t love us back the way we need to be loved. They can’t give us the love we deserve and eventhough we’d like to love them till the end of the world. If we stay in those relationships our wold will surely end in disaster.

I painted the cover art as always in Photoshop and it took about 9

hours to complete. It is inspired in a track by my favorite band Gorillaz, Feel Good Inc.

Let me know what you think of the art and check out the song on Spotify:

This is definitely a reference to the Gorillaz, but is the title “The World Ends With You” also a reference to the Square Enix game on the Nintendo DS (I guess mobile and the Switch, too, but TWEWY was always made specifically for the Nintendo DS, let’s not kid ourselves here)?

Mabelma responds:

Jajaja yeah, eventhough the song title is in spanish, I didn’t just want to translate it and TWEWY was one of my favorite ds titles so foh sure it’s a reference to it.
