Prodigal Son is an very, underrated song performed by Iron Maiden based on their second album, Killers. This was one of their earliest acoustic song that plays in a beautiful stylised harmony before other songs such as Wasting Love and Journeyman existed.
In this story, Eddie is being possessed by the devil's curse, bringing him down to his knees and the only way to cure this curse is from a help of a spellbinding Lamia.
A Lamia is depicted of a mythical creature between half body of a seductive woman and the other body of a venomous snake.
