I reanimated this 3 times and attempted those fire/explosion effects 7 times. I am really glad something decent came out of this.
Marii i a "heat mage" with only so much power at a given time. To make up for the lack of flames, she generates an explosion behind her elbow to punch really hard. She's a bit proud of this.
This may eventually become a game sprite, which is why she isn't punching anything in the image.
That's awesome, I like the utilization of the power, I find it cooler when there's technique rather than raw power.
The same application could go towards the legs, or even the head! An explosive headbutt.
