I did this Inktober drawing based of a song by Heather Dale called Changeling Child.
It is about a childless woman who calls upon the Queen of faeries to give her a baby. The Queen agrees and sends her home with the child. As time goes on, the baby never grows. Being a mother now, her entire life is devoted to this babe.
"For fifty years she rocked that babe, it's said she rocks him still."
Done entirely with ink.
