This was a digital painting I did over the holiday season, as a complete surprise for a woman I had seen post a photo of her black lab who had passed away one year earlier. She said her heart was shattered. I was having a really rough holiday season, so I decided to do something really great for a complete stranger, to help get me into the Christmas spirit. Done in Photoshop on a Cintiq tablet.
