The track is from Gran Turismo 4, the Car model on the other hand is from Gran Turismo 2.
The image with the Mazda RX-7 shows in what state the mesh comes in.
So, the way these images have been setup is in reverse order, meaning the first picture is the last I made.
Originally, I was going for a pseudo-realistic approach with the car out of focus and the rest of the track in focus, then a friend of mine told me to do the opposite and I did just that. It's probably the better image out of them all.
Also, the second image, the one showing the "Michelin" entrance logo uses actual motion blur, I took the car and made it run from the previous corner all the way to the tunnel's exit. The first, second and third pictures instead used a compositing node setup.
I've also added a bunch of area lights (32!) right were the lights were in the mesh and in the original game. This is the result. I should learn how to properly animate, because I've also been hearing to a Gyari's "Waaa" and it seems to fit a race perfectly. The car's mesh is a shitshow, but I like it because it's from GT2. I wish there were a way to extract GT2's stages too. GT4's cars are also usable on blender, but there's quite a while to fix.
The skybox is from Spyro 2. I'm getting a good mileage out of these images, after all I went through to get them out of the game in a decent quality. I'll try to upload them somewhere if someone needs them.
