This project was a combination of my teacher's and my idea. She had the idea of somehow separating parts of my face and rearranging them in a certain manner. So I made the shadow box (quickly), cut out several wooden blocks, and printed/pasted the different parts of my face onto the blocks to be placed in each little section.
What was the hardest part of this project was the fact that the pictures I took of myself had a different light source than the shadow box, so I had to draw two different angles of light and it really complicated some sections...
She said she'll use the shadow box/blocks for future independent/drawing students.

I'm seeing the texture of the wood, I'm seeing well done shading, I'm seeing a cast shadow and I'm seeing variety. My only real nit pick is that I think the darks could be pushed a little more in some areas. With that said I think you've made a great project here.
